  Title: Ise Monogatari - 伊勢物語 (Tales Of Ise)  | Rating: 5.00 views:2116 |  Written around the 10th century, a wonderful book was created, full of poetry and love, funny and serious in the same time.
That was 伊勢物語. |  Around the 10th century in Japan, a lot of great books were written. Among them, Ise monogatari (or "Tales Of Ise") is one of this era's masterpiece. The author is unknown, but most of the stories in this book have a link with 在原業平 (Ariwara no Narihira), who is sometimes introduced as the writter of those stories.
This book introduces several short tales for which there is one or more poems. Sometimes, there are just a few words to introduce a poem, and the longest story is three pages long.
I've read the french translation, and I must say that this book is something rare. When you read a story and its poems, you seem to live in this beautiful period of poetry (平安時代, Heian Jidai), and you are following the adventures of the poet, his joy, his sadness.
This book is a must read for students in japanese culture, sure, but for all the people who loves poetry and the curious people who'd like to learn about this part of japanese literature.

| Title: Dazai Osamu - No Longer Human [人間失格] | views:2418 | Dazai Osamu was a great japanese author. He was born in 1909 and committed suicide in 1948.
From what I've read from him, I must say that Dazai wrote depressive things. He actually took his inspiration from his real life.
What about this book? 人間失格.
It's the story of a man who is afraid by other humans since his childhood and is trying to put a mask to face other people.
He doesn't feel to be part of the society and doesn't really care about his own life.
When he grows up, he starts to take drugs and...

While I was reading this book, it made me think about me sometimes. The hero is kinda depressed and doesn't get along very well with other other people. He doesn't think like them and doesn't really care about anything.
Depressed, sad, gloomy, I don't think you'll find a part of happiness in this book. It's always dark and when we could think that the hero will come back to the light, he'll go deeper into the darkness.
Anyway, I felt good after reading this book. It's well written and you're linked to the hero.
Dazai was great. I think that all people who have ever feel a deep feeling of sadness will like this book

| Title: One Piece! | Rating: 10.00 views:9503 | | I'm the man who will become the pirate king! | One Piece!
 Luffy.
One day, a friend told me "I'll give you this video, watch it, it's funny!". I just took a look at it, and didn't like the drawing that much...
But, maybe a year later, I thought about it again, and finally watch a "One Piece Movie".
Great! It was great and so funny!
 Zoro.
This is the story of a little boy named luffy who want to become the pirate king. We'll follow him on the sea, he'll meet comrades that will accompany him on the oceans.
 Usoppu.
Each character has specific power or skills. They will meet a lot of other people on their way, and become more and more wanted by the marines (sea police).
 Nami and Luffy.
This serie is very popular in japan and at this time, there are 245 episodes out! I must say I've watched about 160 episodes, and I want to watch more. You aren't getting bored (except for a few episodes) and you are always waiting for the next episode to come ^^.
 Choppaaaa. Choppaaaa 2. Choppaaaa 3.
Watch it in japanese cause the voices will stay in your heads. A good way to remember some words .
 Chopper and Luffy. Chopper and Usoppu.
I must say that episodes after episodes, you'll become attached to characters. Chopper is one of the cutest ^_^. There are also a swordsman, Zoro, who use 3 katanas, Sanji, a (kick) cook, Ussoppsu, a liar, but here for his friends, Nami, the navigator. There are also other characters who will come with them from time to time.
A must watch!

  Title: Envy - All the Footprints You've Ever Left and the Fear Expecting Ahead | Rating: 10.00 views:2406 | | An indispensable album! | Why an indispensable album? Because Envy is THE japanese band. If you come to see them live, you'll understand what I mean.
Their music is hardcore with screaming vocals. (That's why we sometimes call this music "screamo" ).
For me, this album, with the short title "All the Footprints You've Ever Left and the Fear Expecting Ahead", is the best from them.
All of the melodies stay into your head for a long time, and you can feel something inside of you, a deep feeling. You can feel that the members of this band are putting all their energy into their songs, and that really came from their hearts.
Recommended songs on this album:
- A cage it falls into.
- A cradle of arguments and anxiousness
- Left hand
- Your shoes and the world to come
But, I'd actually recommend you to listen the whole album. If you like hard core, punk or simply you want to listen to something you have never listened before, listen to this album!
